By 2020 we want to

assist 170.000 women during pregnancy and birth

Mother’s Health

A Sub-Saharian African mother has a chance in 38 to die during pregnancy or birth.

Principal causes are the lack of equipped facilities with qualified health workers and the low number of people that access to antenatal appointments, especially in rural areas where live the most vulnerable population. We promote the use of healthcare facilities by pregnant women and improve quality of assistance offered.

A key factor is education and sensibilization of the community: changing habits and cultural rules is fundamental to promote the access to proper care in the proper moment.
