CCM Italian Programmes Department was created in the early 2000s to show our action in Africa and encourage sustainable and fair attitudes and behaviours among Italian citizens. Over the years, we have also started to deal with local health and social needs, paying particular attention to most vulnerable groups. Currently, we focus on three main pillars of intervention: health promotion, fight against health inequalities and inclusive and sustainable societies.

Furthermore, we take part in coordination mechanisms at local and national level to enhance and consolidate our action: Comitato Contro la Violenza sulle Donne (CCVD), GrIS Piemonte, Network Italiano Salute Globale e Rete Italiana per l’Insegnamento della Salute Globale (RIISG).

Three pillars of intervention:

Health Promotion

Fight against health inequalities

Inclusive and sustainable societies

Comitato Collaborazione Medica CCM is a NGO committed to promote the right to health and ensure access to essential health care in Africa and in Italy. For 50 years, we have been building upon the skills of local health workers to ensure the provision of quality care to the most vulnerable communities.
