Training courses, capacity-building for intercultural mediators and social/community workers

MEDIATO, providing support to community workers

Social workers and educators working with asylum-seekers and migrants do daily face serious stresses and tensions due to excessive workload, precarious working conditions, and difficult relations with most stakeholders and public opinions. These conditions can negatively affect migrants-social workers’ relations and the opportunity to maintain trustful and fruitful collaborations.

Hence, together with IRES Piemonte, ASGI e AMMI, over the past years CCM has organized training courses, capacity-building and coaching sessions for intercultural mediators and social/community workers, providing support and assistance in the management of difficulties and conflicts.
